How to Enter Formulas
In subjects like math and science, you can easily type commonly used symbols such as fractions, square roots (√), and chemical equations.
Entering Formulas
In a Text Card
While typing, tap the formula.icon to open the formula input menu.

In Test & Questionnaire Cards
Select the formula.icon to the right of the input field to open the formula input menu.

Note: Formulas cannot be used in the following areas of Test & Questionnaire Cards:
The card title
Student answer entry fields or correct answer fields for short response questions
Tips
To insert a line break, switch your keyboard to “Alphanumeric” or “Greek letters,” press Shift, then tap the + in the bottom-right corner.
Use arrow keys to move between input areas in fractions or complex formulas.
Long-press some numbers and characters to insert superscripts, fractions, and more.
Formulas follow LaTeX syntax.

Basic
Includes common formulas used in elementary and middle school, such as units and fractions.
